DescriptionThis is my 1959 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer 4 door hardtop. Only 4000 were made in 1959. Engine is a Big Block 361 at 350 HP. 3 speed pushbutton torqueflite automatic transmission. She came from the factory with some options for that time era including power steering, electronic dimming rear view mirror, driver controlled mirror, and full gauges (no indicator lights). She now has a New interior, paint, chrome (Not installed yet) We had all the chrome re-chromed, 17 pieces. We have replaced many parts including..... recored radiator, new Edelbrock carb, all Edelbrock Chrome under the hood, valve covers, air cleaner with a K+N air filter, T handles with hold downs, thermostats cover and a 105 amp chrome alternator, 40K chrome coil, 16 inch electric cooling fan, new gas tank, master cylinder, all new brakes including AAJ disc brakes up front with new tires too. We have a Pioneer sound system ready to be installed next. We love our 50\'s classic. She is a blast to cruise. We have owned her for a year now and bought her from Beckley West Virginia. We were up in WV just visiting when my father in law told me there was an old Plymouth around the corner for sale. I went and checked her out, ending up being a 59 Dodge, one of my dream cars, so in a week we bought her and I drove her home a 7 hour drive. I will add more pics as we add anything more to our ride. |
